Share of Local InfrastructureThis field estimates your personal benefit from local public infrastructure, specifically roads, sidewalks, public green space, and parks. These are services maintained by governments using shared resources like land and tax funding. For example, if you live alone and assume a full 1-person share of local infrastructure, you’d enter 1. If you live in a 4-person household and want to distribute the cost evenly, you’d enter 0.25.

Share of Public SpendingThis captures the your share of all local government services — beyond just roads and parks. This includes things like: Waste collection, Local police and fire services, Local administration, Zoning and land management and Public health initiatives. You enter a fractional or full number of “shares”, representing how much of that public system you draw on. A single adult might enter 1. A household of 4 might each enter 0.25, or one member might report the full 1.

If you have 2 children in public schools, you’d enter 2. If you homeschool or use private school and don’t use public education, you might enter 0.
